Bio

​
Laura Frustaci is a writer and comedian who graduated cum laude with an honors degree in English from Harvard University. She is a trained performer and an accomplished editor. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Harvardwood, an entertainment industry networking nonprofit organization, while writing, acting, and playing bridge in the NYC area.

Laura has honed her craft under renowned professors at Harvard including fiction authors New York Times bestseller Claire Messud as well as Paul Yoon and acclaimed playwright Phillip Howze.
While at Harvard, Laura completed an honors thesis about the portrayal of gifted children and gifted education in children's literature as part of her degree, as well as a secondary concentration in Education Studies. Laura was co-president of Harvard's oldest improvisation troupe, as well as a member of one of the first female cohorts of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the oldest theatrical organization in the United States.

Upon graduating, Laura was granted a yearlong postgraduate travel fellowship to work on her writing full-time, during which she moved to Scotland.

Laura loves to read and write, both of which she does voraciously. She recently finished her debut YA novel (and has plans for a three-book trilogy) and is working on a standalone contemporary fiction novel.
